West Ham attacking star facing difficulty to face Leeds United in Irons team news

A West Ham attacking star is a doubt for Sunday’s final day visit of Leeds United for which Irons boss Nuno Espirito Santos otherwise has a clean bill of health.

Pacy winger Adama Traore has missed West Ham’s last two games with a muscular quadriceps injury, boss Santos saying the player was still recovering ahead of last weekend’s trip to Newcastle United.

Traore has since had another week to recover but Santos says it will be hard for the 30-year-old to get fit in time for Sunday’s visit of the Whites.

"Adama, it is going to he hard to join us,” said Santos at Friday’s pre-match press conference.

"But the rest are okay, small knocks that we have to assess.

"But hopefully today everybody is going to be okay."
