Huge boost for key Leeds United rivals in Premier League survival bid with ex-Whites man's help

Friday night’s win against Nottingham Forest kicked Leeds United nine points clear of the relegation zone.

A former Whites star has helped key Leeds United rivals to a massive, much-needed boost in their Premier League survival bid.

West Ham then took in their game in hand with Saturday afternoon’s clash at second-bottom Burnley and ex-Leeds star Crysencio Summerville again excelled in bagging the first goal of a hugely important 2-0 victory for their side.

Summerville fired the Irons ahead with just 13 minutes on the clock and January signing Taty Castellanos doubled the West Ham advantage in the 26th minute.

Burnley improved after the break but the damage was done as West Ham moved back to within six points of Leeds and just three points behind fourth-bottom Forest.
