Is West Ham vs Leeds United on TV? Coverage details of final game, kick-off time and relegation permutations
Coverage details of Leeds United’s final game of the Premier League season at West Ham today.
An already safe Leeds United side visit relegation-threatened West Ham in their final game of the Premier League season today - but is the game on TV?
The Hammers and Whites are in very different situations going into today’s final game of the season at the London Stadium which third-bottom West Ham quite simply must win to stand any chance of avoiding relegation.
The Irons are going into today’s final day two points behind fourth-bottom Tottenham Hotspur but with a minus 12 worse goal difference than Spurs who finish their season at home to Everton.
Bar a goal difference miracle, it means West Ham will be relegated if Spurs avoid defeat at home to Everton.
A West Ham win, though, coupled with an Everton win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would seal a dramatic final day great escape by a single point.
Leeds, meanwhile, have been safe from the drop for two weeks, ever since Arsenal’s 1-0 win at West Ham which secured United’s Premier League survival with three games to play.
But boss Daniel Farke has regularly stated the importance in finishing the season as strongly as possible, his team now unbeaten in eight league games following last weekend’s last gasp 1-0 win at home to highflying Brighton.
A final day victory at West Ham today could see the team finish as high as 11th, Leeds beginning the day sat 14th but just two points behind Newcastle United, Everton and Fulham in 11th, 12th and 13th respectively above them.
Two of those teams also play each today on today’s final day as Fulham face Newcastle at Craven Cottage, Everton away at Spurs.
Leeds can finish no lower than 15th, the Whites two points ahead of Crystal Palace and with a better goal difference of five goals than the Eagles who host newly crowned champions Arsenal today.
As is usually the case for the last day of the Premier League season, all ten fixtures start at the same time with every game a 4pm kick-off.
Every game is being broadcast by Sky Sports across ten of its channels, the West Ham versus Leeds fixture being shown on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Ultra HDR.
Tottenham’s hosting of Everton has been picked as the showcase game and is being shown on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Ultra HDR.
