Leeds United moved out of the Premier League dropzone with a fantastic 3-1 win against Chelsea at Elland Road - but has it changed where the bookies think the Whites will now finish?
Daniel Farke’s men lined up for Wednesday night’s hosting of the title-chasing Blues on the back of four straight defeats and sat third-bottom, behind fourth-bottom West Ham on goal difference.
Leeds, though, gave Chelsea a torrid night at Elland Road en route to recording an impressive 3-1 victory which moved them up to 17th place, three points above West Ham and still just one point behind 16th-placed Nottingham Forest.
West Ham take on Manchester United at Old Trafford in the final match of Game Week 14 on Thursday evening, needing a win from what is their game in hand to move back level on points with the Whites.
Forest, meanwhile, ensured they stayed one point ahead of Leeds with Wednesday night’s 1-0 win at Wolves who remain eight points adrift at the foot of the division and now 12 points behind the Whites.
Second-bottom Burnley also suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace on Wednesday, the Clarets now four points behind Leeds who are only three points adrift of 15th-placed Fulham.
It’s all led to changes in the bookies’ betting markets and a new Leeds finishing position in their predicted final table based on those odds. Here, in reverse order, is the full new rundown which also features yet another Tottenham drop.
