Big Leeds United change in bookies' predicted final Premier League table after Palace win & new West Ham blow

Where the bookies think Leeds United will now finish after Saturday’s brilliant 4-1 win against Crystal Palace.

Leeds United have kicked six points clear of the Premier League relegation zone thanks to Saturday’s brilliant win against Crystal Palace - leading to a big Whites change in the bookies’ relegation odds and predicted final table.

Daniel Farke’s Whites lined up for Saturday evening’s hosting of highflying Palace sat fourth-bottom and three points clear of the dropzone following the previous weekend’s 1-1 draw at Brentford.

Ahead of Leeds facing Palace, third-bottom West Ham had the chance to close in on Leeds in Saturday afternoon’s tall order clash at Manchester City but Erling Haaland again did the business as Pep Guardiola’s side eased to a 3-0 success.

The fresh blow for the Irons left them three points behind Leeds but having played a game more and the Whites then inflicted more pain on the Hammers by battering Palace en route to a brilliant 4-1 win at Elland Road.

The victory saw Leeds kick six points clear of the third-bottom Hammers and also overtake Nottingham Forest who now sit fourth-bottom and a point behind Leeds ahead of Monday night’s huge clash at 15th-placed Fulham who themselves are just one point ahead of Farke’s Whites, albeit Forest and Fulham have played a game less.

Nevertheless, it’s looking much rosier for Leeds after a weekend which saw another fresh blow for marooned Wolves at the bottom of the table through Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at home to Brentford.

Second-bottom Burnley, meanwhile, got themselves a point through a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth although the Clarets are still seven points from safety and eight behind the Whites.

A fine weekend for Leeds has now led to a big change in the club’s relegation odds and new predicted final table with the bookies. Using odds for the title to determine sides expected to end up in the top half, here is the full new rundown.
