Massive fresh boost in Leeds United survival bid expected with strong fresh Whites backing

A massive fresh boost in Leeds United’s survival bid is expected.

Leeds United have received strong fresh backing ahead of Saturday’s visit of Wolves in which the club’s bid for Premier League survival is expected to receive another massive boost.

Daniel Farke’s Whites booted six points clear of the relegation zone with just six games left through Monday night’s brilliant 2-1 win at a Manchester United side sat in third place.

Five days on, Leeds will face the visit of the division’s bottom-placed side Wolves on Saturday but a Wolves side who looked to have turned a corner of late only to suffer a 4-0 reverse at last Friday night’s hosts West Ham.

Nevertheless, Wolves have lost just two of their last seven league games but the bookies have given strong fresh backing to Leeds who they confidently expect to record a victory for another massive boost in the club’s survival bid.

A win against Wolves would take Farke’s side up to 39 points with five games still to play and the bookies have made the Whites very strong odds-on favourites for Saturday’s 3pm kick-off in being no bigger than 13-20 but as short as 8-15 with some firms.

Big backing for Whites front men

Despite their general recent improvement, Rob Edwards’ visitors can be backed at 5-1 whilst the draw is on offer at 3s.

Leeds also have their first five players in the anytime scorer market with even rarely used Brighton loanee Facundo Buonanotte considered just as likely to net as chief Wolves threats Adam Armstrong and Toluwalase Arokodare, all three players 4-1.

Whites no 9 Dominic Calvert-Lewin is favourite in the anytime scorer market at 13-10, just ahead of Lukas Nmecha at 6-4 and then Joel Piroe at 15-8.

Noah Okafor (13-5) and Brenden Aaronson (18-5) are then next.

The bookies don’t expect a rout as a 1-0 win for Leeds is favourite in the correct score market at 13-2, just ahead of a 1-1 draw at 7s and then a 2-1 win for the hosts 15-2.

But those making the odds firmly expect a home victory one way or the other, en route to survival with Leeds now as big as 18-1 to go down.
