Leeds United remaining internationals gallery with World Cup decider and midfielder's England chance

A run through Leeds United’s remaining internationals.

Leeds United still have another week to wait for their next game - ahead of which ten players have quick turnarounds of varying degrees due to senior international commitments.

Leeds signed off from their battle for Premier League survival for two weeks with last weekend’s goalless draw at home to Brentford, after which the Whites were looking at 14 days without a game due to the March international break.

Leeds had 13 players heading out on senior international duty although one of those in Ilia Gruev then withdrew from camp due to personal reasons.

Another in Dominic Calvert-Lewin has also now left the England camp which has been trimmed down ahead of Tuesday night’s second March friendly at home to Japan.

Joel Piroe, meanwhile, saw his bid for a World Cup place with Suriname ended through last week’s defeat to Bolivia.

Leeds, though, still have ten players away on senior international duty and here he run through who plays when and how to watch with one man in particular facing a massive World Cup qualification decider on Tuesday night.

The Whites also have a handful of players still away on youth international duty in Jacob Howard (England under-17s), Luke Matykiewicz (Northern Ireland under-19s), Charlie Crew (Wales under-21s) and Robbie Cook (Australia under-19s).
