The Brazilian’s form since his £17million switch from Rennes last summer has reportedly attracted plenty of admirers, with Liverpool and Manchester United most frequently linked.
Indeed, Orta hit out at those rumours, confirming no approaches have been made for the 24-year-old.
Speaking to BBC Radio Leeds, the Whites chief said: "To be clear, we have not had any approach for Raphinha and we would not welcome one.
“It’s only for clickbait and to create business for the websites.
"We are really, really happy and we believe he’s a player that’s a substantial part of the project – and more now when there’s still a lot of things to do.”
According to Calciomercato, however, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are the latest club to be keeping tabs on the attacker.
Former England international turned BT Sport pundit Steve McManaman recently said Raphinha was good enough to play at a top six club.
“Raphinha has been linked with Liverpool this week and I think he’s an exceptional player,” he told HorseRacing.net.
"He’s only just entered the Premier League so the fact that he’s hit the ground running is a big plus. He has a lot of skill and a lot of talent.
"I don’t want to disrespect Leeds but of course he could play for a big six club. He could easily fit in a team like that.”
McManaman then added: “But if he leaves, it’ll be for a hell of a lot of money!”
Meanwhile, former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson has urged Leeds to target a move for English duo Tom Heaton and Ben White.
Here are the latest transfer headlines from Leeds, including more on Heaton and White, and their Premier League rivals:
