Liverpool player breaks silence ahead of Leeds United transfer

The latest Leeds United transfer news as a Liverpool player speaks out on his reported imminent move.

Leeds United and clubs across the Premier League are bracing themselves for a busy January transfer window after a record-breaking summer.

There is a lot to play for this season, and one signing could be the difference for a side like Leeds, who are fighting for survival in the top-flight, from dropping back down to the Championship.

One player who is reportedly on his way to Elland Road, who may not make as big an impact in the immediate future, is Liverpool youth player Kai Morall. The 15-year-old is a highly thought-of attacking prospect who is earmarked for a big future.

The Talent Hunter has reported that the youngster will be making the move to Leeds and that Morall is “ very highly regarded by the club" and an "amazing addition".

Morall signed for the Anfield side at under-9s level and has been with the club ever since. He has also represented Ireland under-15s. But now he has confirmed that he will be leaving the Merseyside club after eight years.

The young attacker posted an array of images of his time at Liverpool and said: “After 8 years at Liverpool, it is time for me to say goodbye.

“I would like to thank all the staff and the coaches that helped me develop into a better player and a person.

“I will miss the memories and friends I made along the way; however, I am looking forward to starting a new chapter and hopefully more things to come."

This will be seen as a big coup for the Whites to sign a prospect from a fellow Premier League rival and one of the big clubs in the league. And this sort of deal could become more of the norm in the future as sides continue to sign big-money, experienced players in the transfer market, and youth players could start to question whether they see a pathway into the first team at the biggest clubs in England.
