Staggering Premier League attendance table: Where Leeds United sit vs West Ham, Newcastle and rivals

Elland Road is set to undergo huge renovations in upcoming years, but how do Leeds United's crowds look right now?

Leeds United’s dramatic 3-3 draw against Liverpool at the start of December drew the biggest crowd Elland Road has seen so far this season. 36,842 supporters packed into the grand old stadium as the Whites followed up their impressive 3-1 win over Chelsea with a last-gasp draw against the defending champions, overcoming 2-0 and 3-2 deficits and grabbing the point thanks to a 96th-minute equaliser from Ao Tanaka.

That said, Leeds’ lowest Premier League attendance so far this season was against Bournemouth, and that match still drew 36,574 supporters, with the United faithful turning up week in, week out to get behind their team back in the top flight.

But where does all this leave Leeds United in terms of average attendances throughout the entire Premier League? While by no means the smallest ground, Elland Road won’t be able to compete with the likes of Old Trafford, Anfield and the Emirates when it comes to raw numbers - even if the atmosphere tells a completely different story.
