The Premier League season so far has been full of surprises, and one of the standout teams that have shocked many has been Leeds United’s fellow newly promoted club, Sunderland.
Regis Le Bris’ side were promoted via the Championship play-offs and were miles behind both Leeds and Burnley come the end of last season, but they have started this season superbly.
The Whites themselves have fought back against many people’s expectations a few weeks ago that they were heading back down, as they are on a run of three unbeaten, with an impressive win against Chelsea, accompanied by a dramatic late draw with reigning champions Liverpool and a solid draw on the road against Brentford.
Now, Daniel Farke’s side have a bit of breathing space from the relegation zone and will wnat to build on this three-point gap and race away from the chasing pack before it becomes uncomfortable again.
But form can change suddenly, and teams you think won’t be in the relegation fight can get dragged back in after a poor run of results.
Below are the odds of where each side in the Premier League will finish this season.
