The reality of Leeds United’s Premier League survival challenge has set in during the November international break following consecutive away defeats. Daniel Farke’s side sit just two places and one point above the relegation zone after a promising start was followed by one win in six.
With a daunting run of fixtures to contend with after the break, Leeds have a huge task ahead if they want to keep their trusted point-per-game record intact. There is growing uncertainty elsewhere in the Premier League, however, not least at Fulham who after five defeats in six are reportedly weighing up the future of head coach Marco Silva.
Wolves are in serious trouble, with Rob Edwards appointed as manager this week but arriving at a side without a single win all season. Burnley are also struggling to pick up points while West Ham and Nottingham Forest remain very much in the mix.
Statistical experts Opta have taken all of that into account with their latest predicted Premier League table, forecasting each team’s final position, points total and percentage chance of relegation. Take a look below to see where they have Leeds.
