Kieran Magure has documented how much clubs - including Leeds, Manchester United, Celtic and Rangers - were paying 17-years ago compared to now, also working out the percentage difference which makes for interesting reading.
Maguire states that back in 1992 a pint of lager cost would £1.44, if the price of beer had risen in line with Premier League wages, a pint would today cost £44.88.
