Marcelo Bielsa’s legacy at Leeds United will be remembered for years to come. He arrived at Elland Road back in 2018 having previously been at Athletic Bilbao, Marseille, Lazio and Lille, among others.
The 67-year-old made an immediate impact with his intense training methods and tactics and guided the Whites to the Championship play-offs in his first season at the club. However, his side were defeated by Frank Lampard’s Derby County over two legs that year.
Nevertheless, Leeds bounced back from that in the campaign after and ended up winning the title in 2020. Bielsa then took the Yorkshire club into the Premier League and his players adapted well to the step up a division.
He ended up losing his job earlier this year and was replaced by current boss Jesse Marsch. The Argentinian remains a popular figure and here is a look at where all of his signings are these days and photos of them in action....
