Thousands of runners took to the streets of Leeds today (June 14) for one of the most emotional and inspiring highlights of the city's sporting calendar: the annual Leeds 10K.
Organised by Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All, the massive charity road race saw participants of all ages and abilities lace up to raise vital funds for local and national causes, continuing the incredible multi-million-pound legacy of its late founder.
The electric atmosphere kicked off at 9am outside the iconic Parkinson Steps at the University of Leeds. From there, an absolute sea of colour moved through the city centre, looping through Hyde Park, heading down into Headingley past the AMT Headingley Stadium, and cutting through Meanwood before hitting the final straight.
Our photographer was stationed along the course to capture the sweat, the smiles, the brilliant fancy dress, and the pure relief at the finish line.
