Disciplinary news: 3 Leeds Rhinos players charged by match review panel as Wakefield Trinity star learns fate

Three Leeds Rhinos players and one from Wakefield Trinity have been charged following last weekend’s games.

The RFL’s match review panel today (Monday) issued penalty points over five incidents from Rhinos’ 42-12 win against Bradford at AMT Headingley, with one Leeds player being charged twice and a Bulls man also among those punished.

Trinity forward Matty Storton has also learned his fate after being sent-off, for the second time this season, during last Friday’s 52-14 hammering of Castleford Tigers. Players have until noon tomorrow to challenge the panel’s verdict, with any appeals being held later that day.

Penalty points remain on a player’s record for 12 months, but are reduced once a punishment has been served. Here are all the charges and points issued following Betfred Super League round 19.
