Three players were found guilty by the panel of offences during Rhinos’ 66-16 win at York Knights yesterday (Sunday) which lifted them back into top spot on the Betfred Super League table. A trio of St Helens men were charged over incidents in last Saturday’s home win against Castleford Tigers and one of them was handed a long suspension which will see him sit out the rest of the regular season, including Friday’s visit of Rhinos. He was one of two players handed a ban.
Players have until noon tomorrow to challenge the panel’s findings with any appeals being held later the same day. Here’s all the charges and penalty points from Super League round 24, plus a player who avoided further punishment following a controversial yellow card.
