Disciplinary news: Leeds Rhinos, Wakefield Trinity men charged by match review panel, 2 Wigan Warriors banned

Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield Trinity have both had a player charged by the RFL’s match review panel following last Friday’s derby.

The pair were among 13 handed penalty points over incidents during Betfred Super League round 22. Three players picked up suspensions, including two Wigan Warriors forwards from their home win against Toulouse Olympique. One of those will miss the crucial second versus third battle with Wakefield on Friday, August 21.

Players have until noon tomorrow (Tuesday) to challenge the panel’s findings. Any appeals will be heard later the same day. Here’s all the match review panel’s charges from the latest round of top-flight matches.
