Disciplinary news: Wakefield Trinity and Hull KR men banned by match review panel, Warrington Wolves also hit

Two players have been banned following the opening round of Super League play-offs.

The RFL match review panel today (Monday) issued 10 charges following last weekend’s Betfred Super League and Championship ties. Wakefield Trinity’s Emre Guler is set to miss Saturday’s top-flight semi-final at Wigan Warriors following his sending off for punching during the elimination win against Leigh Leopards.

Peta Hiku was also suspended after a similar incident in Hull KR’s defeat by Warrington Wolves. Warrington, who visit Leeds Rhinos on Friday with a place at Old Trafford up for grabs, picked up two charges. Here are all the latest review panel charges, penalty points and punishments.

Players have until noon tomorrow to challenge the verdicts. Any appeals will be heard later the same day.
