Duo come in but Leeds Rhinos loan recalls leave Hunslet RLFC down to 17 players for Oldham Cup tie
Hunslet RLFC have named only 17 players in their squad for Sunday’s 1895 Cup tie at Oldham.
The Parksiders have brought in (Keighley Cougars) and (North Wales Crusaders) on loan, but Ben Littlewood, Tom Nicholson- Watton and Ned McCormack have been recalled by Leeds Rhinos and Doncaster are keeping players back to avoid them being Cup tied.
In addition, Cam Berry is ruled out through concussion and Jaden Barraclough has also joined the casualty list. Elijah Simpson and Jack Ward come back into the squad after injury.

Hunslet were crushed 44-0 at Oldham in the Betfred Championship at the end of last month, but are on a two-game winning run. “It’s a bit of a free hit this week,” coach Kyle Trout said. “We obviously have started to find form in the League, but for various reasons are a bit short of bodies this week. We have looked at a few areas, we want to speed up. It’s not a slow wrestling game anymore. The second half in the last Oldham game was better; I always feel we can score, but we need a fine balance and play smart, which we didn’t do last time.”
Hunslet (at Oldham): from Jowitt, Harrop, Agoro, Gaskell, Abram, Hallas, Gilmore, Battye, Simpson, Watson, Carr, Ward, O’Hanlon, Graham, Walker, Pickersgill, Butterfield.
Kick-off: Sunday, 3pm at Stalybridge.
