How to watch sold-out England v Australia 3nd rugby league Ashes Test live & free on BBC
Leeds Rhinos’ AMT Headingley Stadium is sold out for Saturday’s third Ashes Test, but ticketless fans can watch England take on Australia via the BBC.
England coach Shaun Wane, whose side are 2-0 down in the three-match series, has named Rhinos trio Harry Newman, Kallum Watkins and Mikolaj Oledzki in his initial squad, alongside Wakefield Trinity’s Tom Johnstone and Mike McMeeken. It is the first time an Ashes Test has been played at Headingley since 1982 and England are determined to avoid a series whitewash.
Coverage on BBC One begins at 2pm, 30 minutes ahead of kick-off. Rhinos icon Jamie Peacock will be among the presenting team, which is led by Mark Chapman and also includes Warrington Wolves coach Sam Burgess, former players Kevin Brown, Jon Wilkin and Robbie Hunter-Paul and current St Helens and England women’s star Jodie Cunningham. Tanya Arnold and Damian Johnson will report from pitchside, with commentary from Matt Newsum alongside James Graham, Jonathan Davies, John Kear and Brian Noble.
