Leeds Rhinos linked with NRL forward who played in 2022 World Cup final
Leeds Rhinos have been linked with an international prop playing in the southern hemisphere NRL.
Australian journalist Tony Adams, known as ‘The Mole’ has reported Rhinos are “chasing” Wests Tigers forward Royce Hunt. The 30-year-old made his NRL debut for Canberra Raiders in 2017 and joined Cronulla Sharks three years later. He signed for Wests ahead of last season.
Hunt represented Australian Schoolboys in 2013 and has been capped five times by Samoa, including the 2022 World Cup semi-final win against England and the final loss to Australia. Rhinos are looking for a front-rower to replace Mikolaj Oledzki who will join NRL newcomers Perth Bears next season on a three-year contract.
