Leeds Rhinos news: Challenge Cup tie at Widnes Vikings to be shown via live stream
Leeds Rhinos’ opening game of the season, at Widnes Vikings next week, will be shown in full on a live stream.
The Sportsman You Tube channel has confirmed full coverage of the Betfred Challenge Cup third round tie on Saturday, February 7. The match comes a week before Leeds kick off their Super League campaign away to Leigh Leopards.
It will be Rhinos’first visit to DCBL Halton Stadium since 2018 when they lost a Super League game there, but won in the Challenge Cup and middle-eights. Super League clubs were seeded to be away to Championship or community opposition in the third round.
Access to the live stream will be free, via YouTube. Super League newcomers Bradford Bulls’ tie at Championship favourites London Broncos next Sunday has been announced as the BBC’s tie of the round.
