Leeds Rhinos news: Odsal derby v Bradford Bulls gets Easter holiday date in Super League rivals round
Leeds Rhinos face a change of ‘rivals’ in the 2026 season.
Promoted Bradford Bulls have been confirmed as Rhinos’ opponents for next year’s Betfred Super League rival round. Bulls, who are back in the top-flight for the first time since 2014, will have home advantage on Good Friday, April 3. The kick-off time has not been confirmed, but is likely to be 8pm.
Castleford Tigers were Rhinos’ opponents in the 2024 derby matches, with Huddersfield Giants taking over this year. Tigers are at home to Wakefield Trinity in the final game of rivals round, on Sunday, April 5. Other fixtures that weekend are St Helens v Wigan Warriors and Hull KR v Hull FC on Friday, plus Catalans Dragons v Toulouse Olympique, Giants v York Knights and Warrington Wolves against Leigh Leopards the following day.

The rivals round announcement follows confirmation Leeds will face Bulls in a ‘loop fixture’ at Magic Weekend in Liverpool on Sunday, July 5. Leeds’ season opens away to Leigh on Friday, February 13 and they face Hull KR in round three in Las Vegas 15 days later. The full Super League fixture list will be published tomorrow.
