Leeds Rhinos opponents Hull KR's injury worries outlined ahead of huge Super League clash
Hull KR have injury concerns over four key players ahead of Friday’s visit to Leeds Rhinos.
The Robins’ coach Willie Peters today (Tuesday) revealed winger Joe Burgess, hooker Jez Litten and props Jesse Sue and Sam Luckley are all in doubt for the first versus third Betfred Super League showdown. Burgess has scored 13 tries this season, but damaged a shoulder during last Friday’s win against Leigh Leopards.
Of his chances of featuring this week, Peters said: “I don’t think he will, so we’ll give him a week and then see where it’s at after that. It’s not a major injury.”

An ankle problem kept Litten out of the game against Leigh and Peters added: “We’re going to have to wait and see where he’s at. Sam Luckley has got a bit of a hamstring issue, which we need to see and get a scan on.
“[Sue] got a niggle. We’ll make a call on him tomorrow (Wednesday). He has just had a shoulder, which was from last week. There’s a few there we’re possibly waiting on, or we’ll have to make a call.
“That call will be made tomorrow so we’re going into the captain’s run knowing exactly who’s fit and ready to play. What we’ll do is pick a team that can play and [are] not worried about injuring themselves or feeling something.
“I don’t want to be going with players that aren’t ready to do their job because we’re going to be playing against a very good team and they like a physical style, so we’re going to make sure we match that.”
