Singleton, 33, has been granted a testimonial for services to the sport. The Cumbrian prop came through Rhinos’ youth system and made his first team debut in 2011. He was a member of Leeds’ treble-winning side a decade ago and also featured in their 2017 Grand Final defeat of Tigers.

He joined Toronto Wolfpack in 2020 and moved to Wigan Warriors when the Canadian side dropped out of Betfred Super League later that year. He signed for Salford Red Devils in 2023 and was snapped up by Tigers midway through last season.

Tigers have also confirmed a venue for their pre-season clash with Championship outfit Oldham. The sides were due to meet at the Benidorm Bash on January 10, but that event has been cancelled and the game will now be played at Castleford on the same date (3pm). Tigers’ third and final warm-up fixture is away to St Helens on Sunday, January 24.
