Leeds rugby league club Hunslet sign young forward from Super League Bradford Bulls
Hunslet RLFC have signed a teenage forward on loan from Super League newcomers Bradford Bulls.
Alfie Leake, 19, will spend the 2026 season with Hunslet, but Bulls have a recall option as part of the deal. Leake has yet to make his first team debut, but signed a full-time contract with Bradford last November.
Hunslet director of Rugby Keith Senior said: “Alfie is a young, raw kid with plenty of potential and that’s why Bradford tied him down for three years. In my time [as an assistant-coach] at Bradford I saw him play a friendly against Keighley and he scored a try.

“He has good awareness and strength, but was hampered by a few injuries last season. He has had a good off-season so we are looking forward to him pushing for a spot in the team and showing us all his ability.”
