Long-term casualty returns as Castleford Tigers name 21-man squad v Warrington Wolves

Three changes have been made to Castleford Tigers’ initial squad for Saturday’s visit of Warrington Wolves.

Utility-player Ashton Golding suffered a season-ending hamstring injury during last Friday’s 52-14 hammering at Wakefield Trinity and drops out of the 21, along with three-quarter Semi Valemei who missed the game with a similar problem. Winger Mikaele Ravalawa, who did play at Wakefield, has joined Doncaster on loan and also loses his spot.

Full-back Fletcher Rooney, who made his comeback from injury in the reserves against Leeds Rhinos two weeks ago, comes back into contention. He suffered hamstring damage in March and has played only once in Betfred Super League this year, in the round two defeat at Toulouse Olympique.
