Ref confirmed for Hull FC v Leeds Rhinos, plus Castleford Tigers, Wakefield Trinity & other games
Match officials have been confirmed for this weekend’s matches.
Liam Moore will take charge of Leeds Rhinos for the second time this year when they visit Hull FC on Sunday, with Chris Kendall as his video assistant. Moore also refereed Rhinos’ season-opening game at Widnes Vikings in the Betfred Challenge Cup last month.
He is regarded as the game’s top official, having been in the middle for last year’s Challenge Cup and Grand Finals and the 2026 World Club Challenge. Jack Smith and James Vella have both refereed Rhinos twice in 2026 and Tom Grant once.
Kendall, who returned from injury last weekend, is the whistler on Friday when Wakefield Trinity play host to Leigh Leopards, with Moore on video duty. Liam Rush will referee Castleford Tigers at Warrington Wolves the following afternoon, assisted by Aaron Moore in the video booth.
Appointments for Betfred Super League round five are: Wigan Warriors v York RLFC - Marcus Griffiths (video, Liam Rush); Toulouse Olympique XIII v St Helens - Tom Grant (video, Jack Smith); Wakefield Trinity v Leigh Leopards - Chris Kendall (video Liam Moore); Bradford Bulls v Huddersfield Giants - Aaron Moore (video James Vella); Warrington Wolves v Castleford Tigers - Liam Rush (video, Aaron Moore); Catalans Dragons v Hull KR - Jack Smith (video Tom Grant); Hull FC v Leeds Rhinos - Liam Moore (video Chris Kendall).
