Refs named for Leeds Rhinos v Warrington Wolves plus Castleford Tigers, Wakefield Trinity & other games
Match officials have been confirmed for this weekend’s games, including Leeds Rhinos v Warrington Wolves.
Jack Smith will be in the middle at AMT Headingley when Betfred Super League celebrates it’s 30th anniversary. He is no relation to Russell Smith who refereed Leeds’ first game in the competition, also against Warrington, on March 31, 1996.
It is the third time Smith has been appointed to a Leeds fixture this year. Liam Moore - who is Sunday’s video official - and James Vella have done two each and Tom Grant has refereed them once.

Vella will be in charge of Castleford Tigers’ home meeting with Bradford Bulls on Thursday, with Liam Rush as his video assistant. Grant will referee Wakefield Trinity at York Knights the following evening, when Chris Kendall is the video official.
Tara Grant becomes the first female to referee a men’s Super League game when she takes charge of Wigan Warriors at home to Huddersfield Giants on Saturday. Officials for round six are: Castleford Tigers v Bradford Bulls - James Vella (video, Liam Rush); Hull KR v St Helens - Liam Moore (video, Jack Smith); York Knights v Wakefield Trinity - Tom Grant (video, Chris Kendall); Wigan Warriors v Huddersfield Giants - Tara Jones (video, Chris Kendall); Leigh Leopards v Toulouse Olympique Aaron Moore (video, Tom Grant); Hull FC v Catalans Dragons - Liam Rush (video, James Vella); Leeds Rhinos v Warrington Wolves - Jack Smith (video, Liam Moore).
