Refs named for Warrington Wolves v Leeds Rhinos, plus Wakefield Trinity and Castleford Tigers games
Referees have been named for this weekend’s matches including Leeds Rhinos’ top of the table showdown with Warrington Wolves.
Liam Moore will be in the middle for the second versus first Betfred Super League clash at HJ Stadium, with Marcus Griffiths as his video assistant. It is the seventh time Moore has refereed Rhinos this season and his second in succession following last Friday’s win at Toulouse Olympique.
Between them, Moore and Jack Smith - who has been in charge of six Leeds games in 2026 - have been appointed to 11 of Rhinos’ last 12 games. James Vella has refereed Rhinos twice this year and Tom Grant and Chris Kendall once each.
Aaron Moore is the referee for Wakefield Trinity’s visit to Hull FC on Friday, when Vella is on video duty. Griffiths will take charge of Castleford Tigers against Toulouse the following evening, with Aaron Moore making the video calls.
Smith is not on refereeing duty this weekend after being injured late in last Sunday’s game between Bradford Bulls and Leigh Leopards at Odsal. Leeds-based ref Tom Grant makes his comeback from injury when Hunslet play host to Widnes Vikings in the Championship on Sunday.
Appointments for Super League round 15 are: Warrington Wolves v Leeds Rhinos - Liam Moore (video, Marcus Griffiths); Hull KR v Leigh Leopards - Chris Kendall (video, Liam Moore); Hull FC v Wakefield Trinity - Aaron Moore (video, James Vella); York Knights v Wigan Warriors - Tara Jones (video, Tom Grant); Catalans Dragons v Bradford Bulls - Matty Lynn (video, Jack Smith); Castleford Tigers v Toulouse Olympique - Marcus Griffiths (video, Aaron Moore); St Helens v Huddersfield Giants - James Vella (video, Chris Kendall).
