Second Castleford Tigers forward joins Hunslet RLFC on long-term loan
A second Castleford Tigers forward has joined Hunslet RLFC on long-term loan.
Hooker Aiden Doolan will spend the rest of the 2026 season with the south Leeds club, who are 15th in the second-tier Betfred Championship. Tigers second-rower Sam Grice joined the Parksiders on a similar deal last week and was a substitute in last Sunday’s 40-14 defeat at Workington Town.
Doolan joined Tigers in pre-season on a two-year contract having played in the Championship for Barrow Raiders in 2025. He previously had a spell in Warrington Wolves’ academy, spent time at NRL club South Sydney Rabbitohs and featured for Widnes Vikings.

The 22-year-old has played twice for Castleford in Super League and returned to Barrow earlier this year on what at the time was set to be a season-long loan. The latest deal includes an option for Tigers to recall him if needed.
