Rhinos ran in nine tries and gave their points difference a huge boost in the race to finish top of the table with a 52-0 victory. Local lad Fergus McCormack starred on his Betfred Super League debut and there were impressive performances from Brodie Croft, Harry Newman and Cooper Jenkins.
Veteran photographer Steve Riding, who has been covering Leeds rugby league since the 1970s, was at the game for the YEP. Here’s 32 of his pictures of fans enjoying a sparkling start to the Bank Holiday weekend.
