Super League Grand Final: Wakefield Trinity and Warrington Wolves name 21-man squads for Old Trafford
Wakefield Trinity coach Daryl Powell has named his initial squad for Saturday’s Old Trafford showdown with Warrington Wolves.
All the players on duty in last week’s stunning 33-6 semi-final win at Wigan Warriors are included in Wakefield’s 21. Tray Lolesio – a late addition last week after Powell initially announced only 20 players – retains his place, alongside Harvey Smith, Jayden Myers and Josh Rourke who were the other unused reserves at Wigan.
Warrington boss Sam Burgess has made one change to his squad following last Friday’s 14-12 play-off victory at Leeds Rhinos. Former Trinity forward Jordy Crowther returns to the 21 with Max Wood dropping out.

Saturday is Trinity's first Betfred Super League Grand Final and comes after they finished fourth in the table, just two years after being promoted into the elite competition. The club are one win away from being crowned champions for the first time since 1968. The title-decider kicks off at 6pm and will be refereed by Liam Moore.
Wakefield Trinity’s squad is: Max Jowitt, Cameron Scott, Corey Hall, Tom Johnstone, Jake Trueman, Mason Lino, Mike McMeeken, Tyson Smoothy, Ky Rodwell, Jazz Tevaga, Jay Pitts, Caleb Hamlin-Uele, Caius Faatili, Harvey Smith, Isaiah Vagana, Lachlan Walmsley, Jack Sinfield, Jayden Myers, Josh Rourke, Tray Lolesio, Zac Lipowicz.
Warrington’s initial squad is: Cai Taylor-Wray, Josh Thewlis, Toby King, Albert Hopoate, Matty Ashton, George Williams, Luke Yates, Danny Walker, James Harrison, Sam Stone, Ben Currie, Sam Powell, Liam Byrne, Jordy Crowther, Ewan Irwin, Leon Hayes, James Bentley, Joe Philbin, Arron Lindop, Josh Smith, Kelepi Tanginoa.
