Wakefield Trinity 21-man squad named as coach Daryl Powell makes changes v Huddersfield Giants
Wakefield Trinity coach Daryl Powell has made two changes to his initial 21-man squad for Sunday’s game at Huddersfield Giants.
Three-quarter Oliver Pratt and forward Ky Rodwell come into Trinity’s initial squad, replacing Caius Faatili and Jordan Williams. Faatili wasn’t in the 17 for last week’s 18-16 home defeat by Toulouse Olympique and Williams was an unused substitute.
Powell revealed Faatil has “a minor issue in his calf” and is getting close to being available. England winger Tom Johnstone remains on the casualty list, but is “looking alright and won't be too far away”, according to Powell.

Trinity’s 21 is: Max Jowitt, Oliver Pratt, Cameron Scott, Corey Hall, Jake Trueman, Mason Lino, Mike McMeeken, Tyson Smoothy, Ky Rodwell, Seth Nikotemo, Matty Storton, Jazz Tevaga, Jay Pitts, Caleb Hamlin-Uele, Harvey Smith, Isaiah Vagana, Lachlan Walmsley, Jack Sinfield, Josh Rourke, Tray Lolesio, Will Tate.
Giants’s 21 is: Jacob Gagai, Taane Milne, Sam Halsall, Tui Lolohea, Tristan Powell, Zac Woolford, Tom Burgess, Asher O’Donnell, Sam Hewitt, Fenton Rogers, Matty English, George King, Kieran Rush, Mathieu Cozza, George Flanagan, Jack Billington, Chris Patolo, Connor Carr, Archie Sykes, Marshall Land, Oliver Russell.
