Wakefield Trinity news: England star returns as 21-man squad named v Hull KR
Wakefield Trinity coach Daryl Powell has made one change to his initial squad for Saturday’s visit of champions Hull KR.
England winger Tom Johnstone comes back into the 21 after an Achilles injury which has kept him off the field since the home win against Bradford Bulls on April 18. Will Tate, who didn’t play in the win at Toulouse two weeks ago, drops out.
Hull KR are without former Trinity player Dean Hadley who failed a head injury assessment in the opening stages of last Saturday’s Betfred Challenge Cup final defeat by Wigan Warriors. Jack Brown, a substitute at Wembley, left the Robins on Monday and has signed for Castleford Tigers.

Recent front-row signing, Tevita Pangai Junior could make his debut and ex-Trinity back Ryan Hampshire is also drafted in. A minute’s silence will be held before kick-off in memory of club legends John Kear and Geoff Oakes who both died last weekend.
Trinity’s 21 is: Oliver Pratt, Cameron Scott, Corey Hall, Tom Johnstone, Jake Trueman, Mason Lino, Mike McMeeken, Tyson Smoothy, Ky Rodwell, Seth Nikotemo, Matty Storton, Jazz Tevaga, Jay Pitts, Caleb Hamlin-Uele, Caius Faatili, Harvey Smith, Isaiah Vagana, Jack Sinfield, Jayden Myers, Josh Rourke, Tray Lolesio.
Hull KR’s 21 is: Tom Davies, Peta Hiku, Oliver Gildart, Joe Burgess, Mikey Lewis, Tyrone May, Sauaso Sue, Jez Litten, Tom Amone, Dean Hadley, James Batchelor, Elliot Minchella, Jack Broadbent, Sam Luckley, Jai Whitbread, Rhyse Martin, Karl Lawton, Jordan Dezaria, Noah Booth, Bill Leyland.
