Weekend closure of M62 near Leeds to take place for waterproofing works of railway bridge

Drivers in Leeds have been given a head’s up that there will be a closure on the M62 throughout this coming weekend.

From 9pm on Friday (May 29) until 5am on Monday morning (June 1) the M62 westbound will be closed between junction 29 for Lofthouse and junction 28 for Tingley.

This is so that waterproofing work work can be carried out on Ardsley railway bridge.

Diversions will be in place via the M1, M621, A6110 and A653.
