Running clubs from across the region gathered in the grounds of stately home Temple Newsam for the return of an annual running event.
The Temple Newsam Ten saw them battle a ten-mile across the grounds of the east Leeds home organised by St Theresa’s Athletic Club.
There was a 30 minute delay to the start time because of the weather but brave runners were not deterred from putting their best foot forward.
Yorkshire Evening Post photographer was there to capture all the action from the starting line this morning.
