Children kitted in their best superhero attire gathered together today (May 31) at the John Charles Centre for Sport to take part in a unique fundraising challenge.
The SNAPS Superhero Challenge saw children of all ages and abilities take part in a fun-run style event to raise money for SNAPS, a Leeds-based charity which supports children with additional needs and their families.
The event gave each child the chance to set their own challenge around the 400m athletics track and they were cheered as they walked, ran, or wheeled, across the finish line.
The SNAPS Superhero Challenge also saw families enjoy a wide range of activities, including superhero meet and greets, bouncy castles, inclusive sports, craft and sensory activities, games, face painting and visits from the emergency services.
Take a look at some of the best pictures from the day.
