What time is A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms episode 6 out? Release times explained
A ‘great loss’ will be mourned in the season finale of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
The popular Game of Thrones spin-off is set to wrap-up its first outing - after wowing audiences and critics alike. Set nearly 100 years before the events of the original show, it follows Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire Egg.
Based on a series of smaller books by George R.R. Martin, it is the second prequel to the hit fantasy drama. Sister show House of the Dragon is due to return in the summer for its third series.
But when can you expect the next episode? Here’s all you need to know:
What is A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms about?

A century before the events of Game of Thrones, two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros… a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg.
Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.
What to expect from A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms this week?
The preview for episode six, via Radio Times, reads: “As Ashford mourns a great loss, Dunk considers his next move and decides whether to keep Egg as his squire.”
It is the season finale, marking the conclusion of the first series. A second season is expected to arrive in 2027.

American audiences will be able to tune in to the latest show from the world of A Song of Ice and Fire on HBO. It is set to be broadcast weekly on Sunday nights - including today (February 22) - and can also be watched on HBO Max.

When is the next episode of the show out?
Unlike Game of Thrones or House of the Dragon, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will have a shorter run than you might expect. It will have just six episodes and the episodes run between 30 and 40 minutes each, meaning that this week is the season finale.
However, for those who are familiar with the source material this will not come as a surprise. The Dunk and Egg tales, as they are commonly referred to, are much shorter - running around 100 pages each.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is expected to return for a second season in 2027. Fingers crossed the wait isn’t too long!
