From inclusive comedy to high-octane arena anthems, the next 30 days offer something for everyone.
Leading the charge for a more inclusive cultural scene is the You Can Laugh You Know Festival at Archive, a brilliant showcase of neurodivergent and disabled comedy talent.
Meanwhile, families can dive into the school holidays with the magic of Shrek: The Musical and Gabby’s Dollhouse, and horror fans have a date with destiny at the Leeds Horror Fest featuring the legendary Caroline Munro.
Comedy lovers are equally spoiled for choice. The Glee Club continues to be the heartbeat of the local stand-up scene with heavy hitters like Jamie Hutchinson and Susie McCabe, while legendary venues like City Varieties and Leeds Grand host a revolving door of comedy royalty, from James Acaster to Josh Widdicombe.
But if it’s music you’re after, the volume is being turned up to eleven.
Homegrown firebrand Yungblud returns for a massive headline show, alongside a month of absolute icons including the Britpop swagger of Richard Ashcroft, a high-energy double-bill from The Prodigy and Carl Cox, and a nostalgic R&B takeover from Ne-Yo and Akon.
Ready to head out? Most of the major arena and academy shows are available via Ticketmaster, while theatrical and comedy performances at the Grand or City Varieties can be booked directly through Leeds Heritage Theatres.
If you prefer to keep it local, you can pick up tickets in person (and perhaps a few vinyls while you're at it) by visiting the legends at Jumbo Records in the St Johns Centre or Crash Records on The Headrow.
