Damon Albarn's genre-bending virtual band Gorillaz announces special warm-up shows in Bradford
Gorillaz are slated to perform two warm-up concerts in Bradford next year, marking their first appearance in the city ahead of their wider UK tour.
The virtual band recently announced their ninth studio album, The Mountain, along with a huge tour across Europe and the UK.
But before the tour kicks off, the band is coming to Bradford for the very first time for two special warm-up shows at the newly restored Bradford Live.

Founded by Blur singer Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, Gorillaz’ eclectic mix of genres and collaborations with a wide range of artists has made them one of the 21st century’s heavyweights, with well-known songs such as "Feel Good Inc." and "DARE!" becoming era-defining classics.
Their new album features collaborations with artists performing in five languages: Arabic, English, Hindi, Spanish, and Yoruba. Familiar features include The Smiths icon Johnny Marr, IDLES, and Anoushka Shankar.
Gorillaz are coming to Bradford on March 13 and 14, 2025, followed by a headline show at Leeds First Direct Bank Arena on March 25.
Tickets are available from 9am on Friday, December 12, via Gigantic. A pre-sale for registered fans will begin at 10am on Thursday, December 11. You can sign up here.
Any remaining tickets for the show in Leeds can be found on Ticketmaster.
