- Olivia Dean and Taylor Swift continue to battle it out on streaming services midweek.

- Could that translate into more chart dominance ahead of this week’s UK Top 40 singles countdown?
Could Olivia Dean’s recent appearance on US television lead to a surge in listens on streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music, this week?
Already carving out a name for herself on these platforms since we started taking a look at the midweek charts, Dean was the guest performer on the most recent episode of Saturday Night Live over the weekend, hosted by ‘The Running Man’ star Glen Powell.
She performed both ‘Man I Need’ and ‘Let Alone the One You Love,’ on an episode of SNL that, according to LateNighter, saw an increase in ratings as the show gets ready for its final three episodes before Christmas.
But, that’s discounting the almighty pull of Taylor Swift, who is still permeating radio, streaming services and now front doorsteps, after her latest merchandise drop saw the release of Taylor Swift-themed door mats—just in time for the ’muckiest’ time of the year for weather.
We’ve gone back to Soundcharts once again to take a look at what your current top 10 songs on streaming services and on radio stations across the United Kingdom are—ahead of this week’s UK Top 40 announcement.
