The Summer Series of gigs kicked off last Thursday (July 6) with a performance by British pop rock band McFly and since then the central site has seen huge performances by Blossoms and Kasabian.
Former frontman of The Smiths, Morrissey, is gearing up to headline the outdoor venue at Millennium Square tonight (Wednesday) and a number of other highly anticipated shows are scheduled for the rest of this month and into August.

7. A Beautiful Day Out with Levellers and more
Folk rock band Levellers will headline ‘A Beautiful Day Out’ festival, whjicj is a sister event to award-winning independent festival ‘Beautiful Days’. 10. Club Classical Anthems 2023
The club vs classical phenomenon is back in Leeds on Saturday, July 29, showcasing some of the greatest dance floor and club anthems of all time, re-imagined and performed live by the original artists and the 50-piece symphony Orchestra of Opera North.
