A brand-new chapter for Leeds club culture was written on Friday night (September 25) as Mint XL held its official launch party inside the former PRYZM site on Woodhouse Lane.
Taking over the historic venue at the Merrion Centre, the team behind the legendary Mint Club and Mint Warehouse transformed the space into a state-of-the-art 2,500-capacity multi-room destination.
Curated by renowned electronic music platform system., the grand opening saw partygoers pack out all three distinct spaces - The Ballroom, The Cage, and The Club Room (an intimate nod to the iconic original Mint Club on Harrison Street).
With heavyweight selectors including Craig Richards, Enzo Siragusa, Fumiya Tanaka, and Sonja Moonear taking to the decks alongside custom Funktion-One sound and a strict no-phones policy, the atmosphere delivered a proper statement of intent for the city's electronic music scene.
