Battle of Britain flight flypast set for skies over Leeds on Sunday
The Battle of Britain Memorial flight is set to head over the skies of Leeds on Sunday
Aviation experts are in for a treat as they look to the skies across Leeds this weekend.

The Battle of Britain Memorial flight is set to soar over Ilkley on Sunday morning.
The Douglas C-47 Dakota, one of the type of aeroplanes that were used to drop paratroopers on D-Day, will perform a special flypast over the Ilkley Half Marathon and Event Village tomorrow.
The aircraft, which is based at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire, is set to fly over the East Holmes Field at around 11.42am.
Ilkley Half Marathon event organisers have said the historic plane is set to perform three passes in the morning.
They added: “This historic WWII aircraft — famous for its role in the D‑Day landings — will add a memorable moment for runners, volunteers and spectators.
“All BBMF flypasts depend on weather, RAF operations and aircraft serviceability, so timings may change.”
