Beat the heat in Yorkshire as Stockeld Park launches splash-filled summer festival
Award-winning family attraction, Stockeld Park is helping families stay cool while making the most of the school holidays, as it launches its biggest ever summer festival alongside brand new ways to beat the heat.
Running from July 18 to September 6, Summer at Stockeld, near Wetherby, combines festival-style entertainment with outdoor adventure and interactive play.

This year, with warmer weather already seen across the UK, the park is introducing a range of cooling experiences so visitors can enjoy a full day out, even on the hottest days.
New for summer 2026, Stockeld will open a dedicated cooling-off station, complete with refreshing water misters, giving families a place to take a break and cool down between activities. A brand-new sand and water play area will also allow children to splash, play and explore while staying refreshed.
On particularly hot days, visitors can also expect organised water fights across the park, adding an extra layer of fun to the festival atmosphere and helping families embrace the sunshine safely.
Ranked the third best amusement park in the UK on TripAdvisor and open daily from 9.30am to 6pm, Stockeld continues to offer a full day of entertainment whatever the weather. Alongside its new summer additions, families can enjoy a packed programme of live shows, outdoor adventures and indoor play, all included in one great value ticket.
For those looking to make the most of the holidays, Stockeld has also launched its Summer Membership. Priced at £40, the pass provides unlimited entry until September 13, working out at around 70p per day and allowing families to visit again and again throughout the season.
At the heart of the festival is a vibrant daily entertainment programme on the festival stage, where visitors can join Scout the Squirrel and the Stockeld Stars for games, dancing and high-energy fun throughout the day.
Highlights include Scout’s Summer Show, family gameshows, giant bubble displays, silent discos and meet and greet opportunities with the park’s much-loved mascot.
A standout feature of the programme is Lunchtime Live, taking place every day at 1pm. Each week brings a rotating line-up of performers, from magicians on Magic Mondays to tribute acts on Tribute Tuesdays, alongside live musicians performing family favourite hits throughout the week.
Headline tribute acts appearing across the summer include performances inspired by The Killers, Chappell Roan, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles, ensuring something for every generation to enjoy.
On Bank Holiday Monday August 31, visitors can enjoy both a Harry Styles tribute and a live magic performance as part of an extended day of entertainment, with more surprises planned across the summer.
Beyond the stage, families can explore everything Stockeld Park has to offer, including interactive play in the Enchanted Forest and a brand new summer trail, Where in the World is Scout on his Holidays?, where children can follow clues to discover Scout’s global adventures.
In the Magical Maze, a themed challenge invites visitors to help Scout pack his suitcase by finding his lost items hidden throughout the winding paths. New for summer 2026, families can also enjoy a round of crazy golf, alongside much-loved attractions including giant inflatables, pedal go-karts, Buccaneer Boats and the Flying Stocksman.
Stockeld Park’s extensive outdoor playgrounds and the award-winning Playhive, one of Europe’s largest indoor play centres, ensure there is plenty to enjoy throughout the day, come rain or shine.
BBQ specials will be available on the festival field, adding to the relaxed summer atmosphere.
This year, Stockeld Park is also supporting families by honouring the government’s temporary VAT reduction across the summer period. Although the VAT relief ends on 1st September, the park will continue to honour the same pricing until 6th September, recognising that many local school holidays extend into early September.
A new children’s menu will also be introduced to help families make the most of the reduced rate.
Peter Grant, Owner and Chief Fun Officer at Stockeld Park, said: “With the hot weather we have already seen this summer, we wanted to make sure families can still enjoy a full day out without worrying about the heat.
"From water misters and splash play to spontaneous water fights, we have built in plenty of ways for visitors to cool down while keeping the fun going.
Alongside that, the Summer Festival brings together everything people love about Stockeld, from live entertainment and outdoor adventure to indoor play, so families can visit whatever the weather and stay as long as they like.”
Tickets for the Summer Festival are available now.
