It’s a month of big names heading to the city from the world of comedy, as a long-awaited performance from one of the UK’s most beloved comedians takes place next month.
After what has felt like an eternity, Peter Kay is once again taking over the First Direct Arena in mid-May as his celebrated return to stand-up continues to entertain audiences nationwide. But he’s not the only big name coming to Leeds.
May features Stewart Lee coming to Leeds Playhouse after his 2025 sold-out run, while Russell Howard has a couple of engagements in the city at the Leeds Grand Theatre.
But don’t sleep on the ‘smaller’ venues next month, either.
From weekend stand-up at The Glee Club to the assortment of incredible performers at The Wardrobe and The HiFi Club, you don’t have to wait for the heavy hitters to arrive to guarantee a great night out.
