It is hard to believe that January is almost at an end - 'almost' being the operative word.
As the nights start to get lighter and the days (ever so) slightly warmer, the world of comedy continues to thrive right on our doorstep, from arena favourites to comedy club cult icons.
With summer still feeling light-years away - officially commencing on June 21 - your time might be occupied by plans for the annual summer vacation or the UK festival season.
But in the meantime, why not take advantage of the world-class comedy on offer in the city during these colder months?
We’ve picked 29 shows taking place across the city, from the First Direct Bank Arena and The Glee Club to Leeds Heritage Theatres and The Wardrobe.
Many of these still have tickets available through Ticketmaster or directly from the venues' own websites.
So, what has caught our eye and is getting us out of the house despite the 'grim' weather? Read on to find out.
