Why are the darts not on TV today?

It is almost Christmas, Santa Claus is pulling on his famous red coat and preparing the reindeer. For darts fans, it means that it is time for the yearly festive break in action at Ally Pally.
Following the conclusion of the second round last night (December 23), the World Darts Championship is set to take a breather over the next couple of days. There will be no live action today (December 24) on Sky Sports.
When does the World Darts Championship start again?
The third round of action is set to kick-off on Saturday (December 27). Sky Sports will once again have live coverage of all the action at Alexandra Palace.
It does mean that there will be no action on December 24, December 25, and December 26. Giving you plenty of time to perfect your ‘180’ voice.
How to watch the World Darts Championship?
